Carol Bornsheuer (Funoldhag), blog's co-founder, passes away

Seven years ago this blog was initiated by Carol Bornsheuer, aka Funoldhag, and Julie Welsh, aka Jewels. Earlier this month Carol passed away. Her obituary is online.

Her friendship and contributions to the Guild and this blog are cherished. Carol loved to take photos and, with Julie, shared many of the Guild's events on this blog beginning in 2009 into 2013. Also, Carol shared her love of life and quilting in two of her blogs - Funoldhag and Just Quilts.

Sit-n-Sew - August 9

Photos are a few of the projects being worked on at July's Sit 'n Sew.

This month Sit 'n Sew will be held the second Tuesday, August 9, 10 am. till 3 pm. at St. Johns Episcopal Church. Bring handwork or bring a machine and enjoy the fellowship. Additional Sit 'n Sew dates are available on the Program Calendar page. A donation of $5 to the church is appreciated.
