Diagonal Backing for your quilts

At this week's Sit 'n Sew, a lap quilt's backing was made using the diagonal backing calculator at Calculator

The width of the top was just a little wider than the backing fabric. Using the calculator and following the construction process provided on the page, less backing fabric was needed.
