The Finished Edge
Beginner/Intermediate -

Sue and her sister, Pat Holly, incorporate unique finishes for their award winning collaborative quilts as well as their own personal quilts. Learn how to create these unique finishes for your own quilts. A mini-quilt will be used for practicing these creative finishes. Sue will take you step by step through the unique scalloped edge and a wonderful loopy edge binding and, in demo-format, you will learn traditional and piped bindings. Your mini-quilt will be a reference for future projects.
This project will require the preparation of a mini quilt prior to class.  Instruction and a supply list should be available at the February Quilters Squared meeting and sent or emailed to those who sign up.
Cost: $35

Congratulations!!

Lots of fun and exciting things going on! SO, I am going to post each separately, hoping you don't miss them.

So the first news! Thanks to Park Bench Quilt Shop for letting us know.

Congratulations to Midland's Lenore Crawford! This piece won her 1st Place for Outstanding Art Quilt at the Road To California Quilters Conference and Showcase in January.

New Year - Away we go!

Holidays are done - check
Not sick - check!
Cold - check!
Must be time to get back to work! Q2 meeting tomorrow night, can't wait! What have you started in the new year? My new sewing/craft room is ready and I am ready to get started on something! Share in comments what you are working on/or starting. Let's help each other get moving and keep moving! Even if you aren't in Q2 and just reading the blog, what are you sewing/making?

Looking forward to seeing all of you!
